Participation Conditions for Pensioners at Mercantile

Women from the age of 60 and men from the age of 65 are automatically defined as pension customers
Pensioners at Mercantile are entitled to credit facilities of up to NIS 30,000 at a variable interest rate based on prime.

* Extending credit and a credit card is conditional on the approval of the branch manager and subject to furnishing suitable collateral by the customer

Credit for Gold Pensioners:

  • Two free checkbooks during the first year 
  • Credit facilities up to NIS 30,000 at a variable interest rate based on prime.

  • Domestic credit cards (Visa or Diners) – free during the first year 
  • International Visa cards free during the first year

A reduced commission on the acquisition/sale of securities (subject to a minimum commission): 

  • 0.3% for shares 
  • 0.25% for bonds 
  • Management fees on a securities account in Israel: 0.130% per quarter (subject to a minimum commission)
  • Management fees on a securities account overseas 0.163% per quarter (subject to a minimum commission)
